Creative Arts Exhibition

The Year 12 Visual Art students have been working hard towards their Unit 4 completion and the upcoming Creative Arts Exhibition. 

We have some amazing Visual Art and Design works from students in all year groups to inspire and intrigue you this year. 

The Creative Arts Exhibition featuring Visual Art & Design by Year 7 to 12 students will be held in the foyer of 140 St George’s Terrace from 19-30 October, with an official opening for student artists and guests on Friday 23 October at 6pm.

Dive into diorama

Our Year 10 Drama students have been exploring the world of set design by creating their dream stage set for an iconic performer, band, or cultural icon of their choice.

Students researched their chosen icon and used their creativity to design a stage that captured their personality, style, and artistic vision. From bold lighting concepts and immersive scenery to detailed staging and special effects, each design showcased incredible imagination and strong design thinking.

This assessment challenged students to consider how set design helps tell a story, creates atmosphere, and enhances a live performance experience. The results were inspiring, with a fantastic range of innovative and unique concepts brought to life, as seen by all visitors to The Laurence Library over the past week.
