Mock examination results

Congratulations to all Year 12 ATAR students on the respectful way they approached their recent Mock Examinations and the preparation they put into them. Students will receive their results and detailed feedback in classes during Term Four, Week 1, providing one final opportunity to use this feedback to sharpen their preparation for the WACE examinations.

WACE written examinations

The WACE written examinations will commence on 28 October, Term Four, Week 3).

Most examinations will be held at 441 Murray Street. Students should carefully check their personalised examination timetable, including the date, time and location of each examination, through the SCSA Student Portal: https://studentportal.scsa.wa.edu.au/

Students are strongly encouraged to check these details well in advance rather than assume that all examinations will be held at the same venue.

OLNA (Year 9, Term Four)

Families can now view their child's OLNA report through SEQTA Engage. For Year 9 students participating in OLNA, their first of six opportunities will take place during Weeks 3 and 4 of Term Four.

As the assessment window approaches, Mrs Sharan Tagore, Associate Dean of Teaching & Learning, has shared preparation resources with families via their nominated email address. Please do check these details and use them to prepare yourself for OLNA. 

Year 11 2027 update

Thank you to all Year 10 students for the thought and maturity they have brought to the subject selection process this term. It has been wonderful speaking with students about not simply which subjects they enjoy, but how thoughtful subject selection can keep future study, training and career pathways open.

We have now reached the final stage of the process: confirming Year 11 subjects for 2027.

All Year 10 students and families have now received the final Year 11 2027 Course Gridlines via SEQTA Direqt Message. During the holidays, students and families are encouraged to review their current selections against the gridlines ahead of finalising them with a member of the Subject Selection Team during their Pathways classes early next term.

The final gridlines accommodate a very high proportion of the preferences submitted by our Year 10 students. Some students will need to make small adjustments where combinations do not fit within the final grid. Where this occurs, our team will work closely with each student to identify the strongest available combination while keeping their future pathway options firmly in view.
