National Education Support Day Celebration

National Education Support Day is a day to celebrate some staff members who have helped the students at Doncaster Primary School. It's a day of recognition for the ES staff and the amazing office staff.

Last Friday, the school captains and I went to the staff room for the National ES day to commemorate the special day. We went to congratulate the ES support staff with a little thank you speech for all their hard work. Then, when time came for us to present our speeches it was fun as everyone started to clap and thank our helpers that help around the school. We thanked them for their kindness, helpfulness, admiration and enthusiasm for being a part of DPS and helping the students at school.

Last Friday, the school captains and I made a short commemoration in the staff room regarding E.S staff on E.S Support Day. The days leading up to the commemoration I had to practice my lines and almost perfect them. When we went into the staff room I got a little bit nervous since it was a new place for me. When it was my turn to speak it all just flowed. It felt comfortable speaking in front of teachers since they were respectful, when it finished everyone clapped for the E.S staff and captains.

Last Friday, the school captains and I performed a commemoration for the Educational Support Staff to support National ES day. The days leading up to the presentation were filled with preparation and practicing. When the day came, I walked into the staffroom and my legs went numb with nervousness, it was my first time presenting there and with 50 teachers all looking at me it was quite challenging. Fortunately, I pushed through and managed to execute my script perfectly.

Last Friday, the school captains and some students gathered in the staff room to present a short speech and gift to commemorate the support and helpfulness of the ES staff on national education support day. The day came faster than ever and it was finally time to present to a lot of teachers and the stars of the show, the ES staff. The ES staff are so appreciative and lovely, so they definitely deserved a little gift to show our support for being really amazing staff members.
