Book Week 2024 19th-23rd August 

Book Week is next week and it will run from the 19th-23rd August. The theme this year is, 'Reading is Magic'. Students will be taking part in many fun, in class activities during Book Week to promote a love of literature and books. There are two exciting events which parents are invited to attend-the Book Week Dress Up Parade and the Book Week Scholastic Book Fair. Please see the details below.

Friday 23rd August

Book Week Dress Up Parade in the Gymnasium 

9:15 Levels Prep-3

10:15 Levels 4-6

Many wonderful books will be on sale at the Scholastic Book Fair in the Junior Building. Please note, sales will be CARD only, no cash. Please see the dates below and times the Book Fair will be running. 

Friday 23rd August: 8:30-8:50am and 3:15-3:45pm

Monday 26th August: 8:30-8:50am and 3:15-3:45pm

Tuesday 27th August: 8:30-8:50am (last morning of sales)

There will also a Cake Decorating Competition. Cakes can be brought to the Junior School Building from 8:45-9:00am on Tuesday 20th August. There will also be Colouring Competitions that are split up into P-2, 3-4 and 5-6 categories. Levels 5 and 6 students have the option of designing their own 'Reading is Magic' poster. Winners will be announced in the Newsletter and on Compass.
