YEAR 11

YEAR 11 2023

Concluding another academic year, Year 11 students engaged in their studies, displaying dedication  doing a fantastic job moving into their VCE and VCE VM studies. It was great to see students form close relationships with their peers and continue to grow as productive members of the Korumburra Secondary College community. Addressing the demands of exams, the Year 11 cohort approached tests and assessments with diligence and demonstrated the hard work they had put in all throughout the year . In addition to academic pursuits, some members of the Year 11 cohort have chosen to leave school for apprenticeships. Driven by a practical mindset, these students are entering the workforce early, showcasing diverse aspirations within the cohort. 

Throughout the year, these students also took on multiple extra curricula activities, with some highlights including the “Inspiring Young People Lunch” linking the students in with local business and services. Students participating in all forms of interschool sport, VM students running their school market stalls and running activities at the primary school, visits to Gippsland Tech School and finally a coffee making course given to students here at the school.    

Approaching their senior year, the Year 11 cohort have demonstrated adaptability and resilience. Whether preparing for exams or venturing into apprenticeships, these students navigate change with composure and have a lot to be proud of. Congratulations to the Year 11 cohort for their efforts thus far, and best wishes for the paths that lie ahead.
