9/10 OUTDOOR EDUCATION

During the year the Year 9/10 Outdoor Education Class had a fantastic time engaging in a mixture of practical and theory-based learning. Key areas of learning in the program focused on: 

First Aid and Emergency Response 

Aquatic Safety and Risk Management  

Camping and cooking skills 

Map reading and Navigation 

Fostering independence, teamworking and communication skills   

Excursions & Camps 

Geelong Royal Yacht Club Sailing Camp, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Orienteering, Eco Wilderness Boat Tour Wilsons Prom, Bushwalking Mt Oberon and School campout.
