SWIMMING
KSC SWIMMING SPORTS
On Wednesday 15th February, Korumburra Secondary College held their annual Swimming Sports for 2023. This was our second attempt to hold these sports after they were postponed due to bad weather from earlier in the year.
222 students were greeted with fantastic weather as they arrived at the pool ready for a day of activities. Students competed in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly events, as well as medleys and relays. There were also a range of novelty events take place as well.
Well done to McDonald House for winning the overall day. McDonald also won the boys’ and girls’ competitions. Well done to all the age group champions, and especially Gypsy Quaife for breaking two school records, one that had stood for more than 20 years!
