Performing Arts and The Rebels of Romalfi

This year we have seen a number of Performing Arts Classes covering content from Pop Music and Fairy Tales at year 7, to Blues Composition and Commedia Del Arte in year 8, to developing Personal Industry Passions in year’s 9 and 10. I was lucky enough to be invited to many fantastic culminating projects in Performing Arts classes and continue to be impressed by the depth of talent we have in our school. 

Speaking of TALENT, this year was a chance for our Performing Arts students and their supporting teachers to delve into another original script from Ms Reymers, ‘The Rebel of Romalfi’, for our bi-annual school production. This years production additionally contained original songs composed by Ms Handley and a score of songs which included a range of popular music from our popular musical past. On show were the considerable talents of our crew and performers from every year level in the school! Our students learnt skills around community, personal growth, teamwork and personal promotion. 

We are so proud of our considerable student team and hope you enjoyed your time working on, what we affectionately call ‘Rebels’, the production for 2023. Simply stunning! We are so very proud of you all.
