We have limited funded places still available at some Glen Education kindergartens.

Free Kinder is for everyone – you don’t need to be a permanent resident or Australian citizen to access it.

3 Days of FREE Kindergarten in 2026

From 2026, children eligible for Pre-Prep will be able to access 22.5 hours (3 days) per week of Free Kindergarten.

To be eligible for Pre-Prep in 2026, your child must meet one of the following criteria:

Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander child
Be from a refugee or asylum seeker background
Have had contact with Child Protection services
children supported by Early Start Kindergarten or Access to Early Learning in their Three Year-Old Kindergarten year
Be attending 4YO kindergarten in 2026

If your child is currently accessing Early Start Kindergarten at our service in 2025, they are eligible for Pre-Prep from 2026.

2026 Holiday Program

Bookings will open for the Term 3 break soon - please look out for dates on Kinderloop!

Led by Glen Education qualified educators, our holiday programs are engaging, inclusive and safe. From arts and sports to music, movement, environmental education, and cooking experiences, we ensure a rich and varied experience.

In our experience, children transition seamlessly into our holiday programs, even when they are enrolled at a different kindergarten. It is also a great opportunity for children to make new friends and socialise with other children of different ages and diverse backgrounds. Our educators understand the importance of a smooth transition, and they provide personalised orientation programs for children who need extra time to settle in comfortably. We prioritise the well-being and happiness of each child in our care.

For kindergarten aged children 3 to 5 years of age
Term 3 holidays (21 September-02 October). excluding Saturdays and Friday 25 September – AFL Grand Final Public Holiday
Located at Glen McKinnon Kindergarten, Glen Orrong Road Kindergarten, Glen Rowen St Kindergarten and Glen North Cheltenham Kindergarten
Cost $85 per day – Child Care Subsidy (CCS) does not apply. No refunds for withdrawals or non-attendance
