Setting the standard

As Senior Students, our Year 11 and 12s set the standards – and with Term Two signalling a return to our winter uniform, it is a good time to revisit the importance of our grooming standards.  The school uniform is a symbol of pride, identity and belonging. Students are expected to wear it correctly both at school and when traveling to and from campus, ensuring they represent themselves and the school with professionalism and respect. During sporting events, Physical Education lessons and co-curricular activities, the appropriate sports uniform must be worn in accordance with the school's guidelines.

Wearing the uniform correctly is more than just following rules—it reflects self-respect, discipline and commitment to the values of our school. The school holidays are the perfect opportunity to check your winter uniform is clean and ready for the start of Term 2.

Let’s continue to uphold the high standards that make St George’s such a strong and connected school community.
