Tips for Term Two

What a magnificent Term One we have had at St George’s!

Term Two reminders:

  • School commences on Tuesday, 29 April. On the first day of school there will be an alternative timetable:
  • Term Two will commence with an Extended PCG period and House Meeting in the morning, from 8.30-9.30am, and then alternate times are in place for the remainder of the day. Students have a copy of the timings for an “Alternative Timetable Day” on the back of the timetable card they were issued at the start of the year. This should still be located in their school diary.

  • Students are to wear winter uniform, as per the Student Uniform and Grooming policy (attched below), including wearing a blazer to and from school each day.
  • Please note that the uniform policy has been updated to reflect the following changes from Term 2 2025.
    • The girl’s grey bow tie has been discontinued
    • All students are to wear the standard tie with their winter uniform
    • There are 2 versions of the new shirt, depending on the fit required. We encourage students to update to the new shirt, which does not need to be tucked in. Students are still able to wear the old shirt until the start of 2026
  • Please take the opportunity over the break to refresh ready for Term 2. Haircuts, cleaning out school bags (and lunch boxes!), mending damaged uniforms, and shining school shoes all are activities best done prior to the first day of school.

The updated Student Uniform and Grooming Policy can also be located in the Parent and Student Handbook on SEQTA and via the school website.
