Year 12 Flexitrack
This week our FlexiTrack High Year 12 students stepped out of the classroom and onto the vibrant campus of Murdoch University for an exciting and inspiring day. The visit was packed with discovery and inspiration, and it offered a glimpse into the boundless possibilities awaiting them as future university students.
One of the highlights of the day was reconnecting with our former student and High Flyer Award recipient, Maddie Szick. Now in her second year of nursing at Murdoch, Maddie is truly living up to her title, earning distinction and high distinction grades while serving as a student ambassador. Her remarkable journey is a testament to the power of FlexiTrack High, which she completed back in Year 12. Maddie often credits her university success to the invaluable skills she developed during the program and still relies on her FlexiTrack notes and resources to excel in her studies.
Maddie's story resonated deeply with our current students, who were inspired by her achievements and determination. Maddie shared her experiences and insights, reinforcing the importance of hard work, perseverance, and the strong foundation provided by FlexiTrack High.
The day at Murdoch was filled with engaging activities. Students were treated to a campus tour, exploring state-of-the-art facilities and immersing themselves in the university atmosphere. They participated in hands-on workshops in exciting fields such as design, animation, and nursing, where they got to experiment, learn, and see their potential futures unfold before them.
And as a cherry on top, they were treated to a free lunch—a delightful reminder that sometimes there is such a thing as a free meal!
The visit left students feeling inspired, motivated, and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. As Maddie continues to fly high, her success shines as a beacon of hope and aspiration for all current and future FlexiTrack High students.
Here's to dreaming big and achieving greatness!
