Service in Action

Mazenod students put Christian Service Learning (CSL) into practice during a trip to the Bibbulmun Track near Ball Creek Hut, combining service with their Compass and Duke of Edinburgh Award programs.

After hiking into the area, students helped maintain the track and hut, collected litter and trimmed overgrown vegetation. Their work cared for the environment and helped make the area more welcoming for future walkers.

The experience gave students a chance to work together, take responsibility and show care for creation. Through practical service, they made a contribution to a valued community resource while working towards their award requirements.
