Year 11 Outdoor Education Expedition

In Week 10, our two Year 11 Outdoor Education classes travelled to the Collie region for their second expedition of 2026. The trip gave students an opportunity to develop their mountain biking and camping skills.

The group camped at Potter’s Gorge Campground and stopped for lunch near Reflections, the mural across Wellington Dam. Along the way, students also recognised artwork by Jade Dolman (@jdpenangke), who created the piece in our quadrangle. (Water Corporation)

Students rode the Sika Trail and put their technical skills to the test on trails including Big Dipper and Van Dam. After campfire activities that evening, they followed the picturesque Munda Biddi Trail into Collie the next day for a well-earned rest.
