Parents' Association
Term 3, 2026 Update
The Parents’ Association (PA) held its AGM on Tuesday 15 September 2026. This year, the PA has proudly funded a number of initiatives to benefit students across the College:
- Year 13 Program for 2026 Cohort (welcoming back 2025 graduates to mentor and support incoming Year 7 students as they transition into high school)
- A significant contribution towards 60th Anniversary Artworks (mosaic artwork, Icons and scenic wall mural)
- First-Person View (FPV) headsets and a stabilised camera gimbals to support and extend the College’s Robotics, Digital Technologies and STEM programs
- Custom Printed Short Sleeve Polo Shirts for new (and future) students participating in the Marmun Yirra Boodja Program and NAIDOC Week
- Daniel Principe, Youth Advocate & Educator - Parent & Community Presentation: “Championing Young People in a Digital World”
- Customised hoodies with 60th Anniversary College logo for Mazenod Jazz Band members representing the College at the Generations in Jazz Festival Mt Gambier, SA – May 2026
- MJFC – Purchase of equipment (footballs) for Year 11/12 Reserves and League Teams
- Customised cricket uniforms for Oblate Cricket Carnival (Qld) – December 2026
- Contribution towards new turf pitch cover for oval
- Purchase of music equipment for use at Masses, assemblies, performances and other College events
- Commercial cooking equipment for Young Vinnies – Good Works Kitchen Program
- Refresh of Student Services waiting area
- Production Equipment – Update of PAC Lighting System
- Purchase of equipment required by the College Canteen
- Boarding initiatives (Chrome water cooler, Supply and installation of split system air-conditioning in the Supper Room, Carpet in Boarding common room)
- Refrigerated water cooler for the Junior Block undercroft area
- Drums/percussion equipment for the ensemble room
- Funding for catering for all Mazenod Helping Hands events

The final PA Meeting for the year will be held in the College Boardroom (and via Zoom) on Tuesday 17 November 2026 (Term 4). We warmly welcome parents/guardians to attend.
