Year 8 Adventure at Bickley

Year 8 students spent two days this week at Bickley Outdoor Recreation Camp, enjoying adventure activities in a beautiful bush setting.

With just the right amount of sunshine, the boys embraced the challenge of getting lost – and found – during orienteering. They also tested themselves on the climbing ropes and worked together to build rafts and catapults.

For the first time, Year 8 students had the chance to try the flying fox across the water. They were supported by Year 10 volunteers, who gave their time and served as role models for the younger students.

The boys summed up the experience in one word: “elite!”
