Harmony Day

On Monday March 17th, we celebrated Harmony Day, a day dedicated to promoting cultural diversity, acceptance and a sense of belonging in our community. It was wonderful to see students participating in a variety of exciting activities, including a Filipino stick game, calligraphy, cultural colouring, chopstick challenge and even trying some wasabi! Thanks to the generous support of our community, we raised almost $670 from the free-dress day and sausage sizzle, which will go towards supporting 7 Women—an incredible organisation that empowers women from marginalized communities. A special thank you to our amazing SIRC for organising this day, our wonderful Japanese team, and everyone who came down and got involved!
