NAPLAN Highlights
We are delighted to share some very pleasing NAPLAN results from this year and to celebrate the hard work of our students and teachers.
Achievement
NAPLAN reports student results across four proficiency levels: Exceeding, Strong, Developing and Needs additional support. The table below shows the percentage of our students achieving in the top two levels, Exceeding or Strong, compared with schools similar to ours.

Students who achieved an Exceeding result, and students who moved up a proficiency level, have received a certificate with their results. Congratulations to these students on a fantastic effort.
Growth
Relative growth shows how much progress a student has made compared with students across Australia who started from a similar point. In the following areas, a higher percentage of our students achieved High or Medium growth than both similar schools and the state average:

What this means
Strong growth in Year 7 gives students a solid foundation to build on as they move through secondary school. The growth our Year 9 students have shown is a clear sign that our teaching programs are supporting their learning between Year 7 and Year 9, and that the consistent focus on literacy and numeracy across the school is making a real difference.
Our next goal is to build on this strong growth so that even more students reach the Exceeding and Strong levels. We will keep working to support every student to continue improving.
