Ombeline Pophillat joins our English teaching team working with our year 8 and 9 students.  Ombeline has experience working in Singapore in a large international school. She is an educator who displays a genuine passion for her subject, and engaging teaching style to inspire curiosity, celebrate student growth, and transform the classroom into a dynamic learning environment. Ombeline also juggles having a lively puppy at home called Juno!

Dania Margerison comes to us from Essendon/Keilor College.  She will be working with year 8 and 9 students in the Humanities department of the school.  Dania is driven by a deep passion for her Humanities subjects, she doesn't just teach the curriculum; she inspires her students to explore and discover their own passion in this field.  Her enthusiasm reaches beyond the school when she is participating and competing in roller derbies on the weekend.

We would also like to warmly welcome two new members to the Wellbeing Team.

We look forward to welcoming Ombeline, Dania, Sekove, Heng and Lauren as they begin their teaching journey at Melba College. We kindly ask students to make them feel supported and included as they settle into their new roles.

We are confident that their skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to education will be a valuable addition to our school.
