Interschool Sport

It has been a very busy term for sport at Melba with some amazing results. 

The term started with senior sport in week 2 along with our amazing Athletics Carnival at Ringwood Athletics Track. It was a glorious day with all students trying their best in both field and track events. 

We then had our Year 7 and our year 8 run in the Melba Cross country with the top 10 qualifying for District cross country run at HE. Parker Reserve. 

We then had all our inter school sporting competitions run through May and June. Outstanding results were our year 7 Badminton team winning and going through to Eastern Region. Our year 7/8 girls team were outstanding beating Ringwood for the first time. 

Our District cross county team were amazing with Ruby Phillpotts coming 1st, Charlotte Phillpotts 2nd,  Elise Heasman 2nd and Charlotte Graham 3rd.  Next was Eastern Region Cross Country with Ruby Phillpotts coming 1st and going on to State Cross Country and Elise Heasman 11th just missing out by 1 place.
