Year 10 student successes

By Ms Deanna Chesterton, Year 10 Coordinator

Middle School Leaders

A big congratulations to our new Year 10 Leaders! We are very proud of all students who submitted an application, even if they weren't appointed to a position. It has shown their commitment to making our school a better place, and their keenness to grow their skillset!

Focused Attention

During Term 1 students have received extra information on topics surrounding their year level theme of focused attention. They have learnt about the importance of sleep and its impact on their ability to focus, some distractions to be aware of and strategies to better manage them, and strategies to use when experiencing mental overload. I encourage you to talk to them about these topics and ask how they are implementing the strategies.

Big Student Successes

Fatima A has been accepted as a recipient of the 2025 German PASCH scholarship. There are only four representatives selected from Australia and only one from Victoria! We are incredibly proud of Fatima’s achievement and hope she has an excellent time at Saint Peter-Ording in northern Germany this June!

Mathew B is currently in Jakarta playing in the Asia Cup. A win for his U17 Indonesian side will qualify them for the World Cup, to be held later this year. We are immensely proud of Mathew and wish him and his team all the best!
