Concert Band Tour

The Wangaratta High School Concert Band headed to Anglesea for their annual tour this year, and it was a trip to remember! Things got off to an amusing start when staff realised the music stands had been left behind. Fortunately, our students took it all in stride, improvising without complaint, even when the playing conditions were less than ideal.

Over three days the band performed for Ocean Grove Primary School (with the added excitement of joining in on their emergency evacuation drill), Anglesea Kindergarten, and Anglesea Primary School. In between performances, students enjoyed some well-deserved fun - playing mini golf, exploring the Werribee Zoo, and sightseeing around Lorne.

It was a fantastic tour filled with music, laughter, and adventure. Congratulations to both staff and students on another successful and memorable band trip!
