Sport: V-Line Cup Football 

Congratulations to Kaity Ford and Mia Simpson for being selected in the 2025 Under 15 AFL North East Border V-Line Cup Girls team! 

They are two of 23 girls chosen from across the Ovens & Murray region and will compete in the Victorian carnival in Ballarat, Sept 22–24.

For 15 year old Year 9 Kaity Ford, it’s her second elite pathway experience, having played in the Coates Talent League Under 16 Championships earlier this year. She will be a key player and leader in the V-Line Cup team, following in the footsteps of her brother Tom (V-Line 2022).

Year 8 student Mia Simpson, just 13, is making her elite pathway debut. Likely the youngest player at the carnival, the talented Wangaratta Rovers and Tigers goalkicker will surely impress in Ballarat.

Both girls can draw inspiration from Carlton AFLW star Darcy Vescio. Good luck – we are all very proud of you!
