Sport: Volleyball

On August 30th, eighteen of our Year 7's took part in the first School Sport Victoria Upper Hume Volleyball carnival in Wangaratta in many years. After trials and lunchtime training, both teams showed strong performances.

The Girls finished 3rd with a 2–2 record, beating Grace Christian College (40–18) and Wodonga Middle Years College (53–45), narrowly losing to Victory Lutheran College (42–53) and Catholic College Wodonga (12–40). Captain Macy Boschetti led at the net, with standout efforts from Evie Fisher, Olive Meggs, Ava Penney, Layla May, and Joni Mitchell.

The Boys went 0–3 but were competitive in every match. Ollie Fisher and Dayne Jeffries impressed as best players, with Vihas Wasala and Raman Bhatta also strong, particularly on serve.
