Sport: Year 7 Basketball

Year 7 Girls Beat Galen & Victory Lutheran Colleges in Wodonga.

 

After two days of tryouts and a Girls vs Boys practice match, 18 Year 7's represented our school at the School Sport Victoria Upper Hume Basketball tournament in Wodonga.

 

Girls Team – Won two of five matches, defeating Galen Catholic College (22–17) and Victory Lutheran College (13–6).

Top Scorers: Ava Penney (21), Macy Boschetti (15), Ashton Ryan (10)

MVPs: Ava (speed/scoring), Ashton (drive), Macy (rebounding), Evie Fisher (defence)

 

Boys Team – Fought hard across three matches.

Top Scorers: Ollie Fisher, Zac Tamme

MVPs: Zac, Ollie, Dayne Jeffries
