Year 8 Report 

This term is going by in a blink of an eye! It was great seeing so many Year 8 students enjoying themselves at the Junior school social. There was plenty of pizza eaten and good times had as they "Rock & Rolled" the night away!

2026 Year 9 Subject Selection 

Students will have received a QR code to take home and scan, and how to access Griddle. This has the Year 9 course guide which explains each of the electives. This QR code will also be posted on Compass. Please take time with your child to look at these electives.

Please follow the instructions carefully on how to access Griddle to make your 2026 Subject Selections.

Uniform

A reminder to parents and carers on the importance of wearing the correct uniform.  

Wearing the school uniform is not just about appearance — it plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students. When students are out of uniform, it becomes more difficult for staff to clearly identify who belongs on our campus. This can lead to confusion and increases the risk of a student being mistaken for someone who should not be on site. In today’s climate, where child safety is a top priority, this is a serious concern. Uniforms help us quickly recognise students, respond appropriately in an emergency, and ensure that all children are accounted for and protected throughout the day. 

Please ensure that moving forward your child is in correct Woodmans Hill Secondary College school uniform. If you need new uniform items to make this happen, please let me know and we can organise vouchers for uniform pieces.
