Year 12 Report

As we move toward the end of the year, there are a number of important reminders and exciting celebrations for our Year 12 students. 

 

Firstly, a few key tasks need to be completed as soon as possible (now overdue): 

 

  • Prep Photos: Please ensure you have submitted or organised your prep photos for the graduation presentation. 

  • Yearbook Quotes: Don’t forget to send in your quote — something memorable, funny, or meaningful that reflects your time at school. 

  • Graduation Prompts: Complete your graduation responses by the due date so these can be included in the ceremony. 

  •  

You also need to get on to your VTAC accounts (due by 29th September, or payment doubles): 

 

  • VTAC Accounts: If you haven’t already, set up your VTAC account as soon as possible. This is essential if you are applying for tertiary study in 2026. For those applying for SEAS support statements, please speak with teachers or other professionals now. Leaving this too late may overwhelm staff and delay your applications. See Kara, Miss B or Miss Hollands if you need support. 

     

Please complete these tasks promptly, as deadlines are fast approaching! If you need assistance or to discuss any of the above, please contact Miss B via email or phone. 

Alongside these reminders, we are also thrilled to share important dates and details of the End of Year Celebrations for the Year 12 Class of 2025:  

 

  •  Monday 20th October - Year 12 Final Assembly – 2:20pm start 

Guests are asked to arrive to be seated from 2:00pm. A special occasion for students, families, and staff to gather and celebrate the final day of classes and share an afternoon tea. This event may go past 3:15 so students may wish to organise a different way home than usual. 

 

  • Tuesday 21st October - Celebration Day (Students Only) 

A relaxed and informal day at Fun Fields, giving students the chance to enjoy time with their peers before exams begin and to signify the end of classes for VCE non-scored and VCE VM students. 

 

  • Thursday 23rd October, 5:45pm–9:00pm - Year 12 Graduation Evening 

At North Ballarat Sports Club. A formal evening recognising the achievements of the Class of 2025 with awards, speeches, and the presentation of graduation certificates. 

 

  • Friday 12th December - Results Day Gathering

Families and students will return to celebrate achievements, with recognition of the Dux (VCE and VCE:VM) and other high achievers. 

 

We look forward to celebrating these milestones with students and their families as we farewell the "Class of 2025". Keep an eye on Compass as further information for all of these events is due to start rolling out in the next few weeks.
