Senior School  Report

Jessica Hollands

As we head further into the year, it’s a great time to remind ourselves about the simple habits that make a big difference to learning: coming to school every day, wearing the right uniform, and building strong study routines well before exams arrive.

Every day at school matters. Being in class means students can join in discussions, ask questions, and stay connected with their learning. Even missing a few lessons can make it harder to keep up, so aiming for high attendance really helps students feel confident and prepared.

Uniform is also an important part of school life. When everyone wears the correct uniform, it creates a strong sense of belonging and pride in our school community. It also helps students feel ready to learn, knowing they’re representing themselves and their school in a positive way.

While exams may still feel a little way off, now is the best time to start creating good study habits. Setting aside small, regular blocks of time for review, making a simple study timetable, and finding strategies that work—like summarising notes or practising questions—can reduce stress and build confidence. Preparing early means students will walk into exams feeling calm and ready to do their best.

By focusing on attendance, uniform, and study habits, we’re giving ourselves the best chance to succeed. Let’s keep encouraging one another to stay on track and celebrate the small steps that lead to big achievements!
