School Sports Victoria Report 

Woodmans Hill Secondary College wishes to highlight and congratulate the efforts of our intermediate boys and girls Badminton teams. 

On Wednesday, the 13th of August, our teams travelled to the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre to compete in the School Sports Victoria State Championship. Our students competed against the best badminton teams from across the state, including those from Kerang, Shepparton, Wodonga, and Metro Melbourne. 

Even against extremely challenging competition, students represented our school values of Respect, Determination and Excellence to a very high standard, leaving their best on the badminton court. 

Although neither of our teams progressed to the finals, we are extremely proud of our intermediates, as their success has been a highlight of Woodmans Hill Secondary College sports this year. 

We look forward to 2026, as they take on the challenge of returning to the State Championship.
