Year 11 Report

Patricia Fox

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a restful break and enjoyed the magnificent weather. I'm excited to see everyone back, refreshed and ready for the term ahead. Let's continue to support one another during which will be a massive term for our year 11 students.

A Positive Start to the Term

We've started the term on a really positive note. As I’ve been walking around, visiting classes, and chatting with students, it’s clear that many of you are working hard, completing your outcomes, and making good use of your study time. This focus and dedication will definitely set you up for success—especially with mid-year exams coming up at the end of term. Keep it up!

Uniform Reminder

As the cooler weather sets in, it's a good time to check your cupboards and see what still fits—and what could be donated or sold through our second-hand uniform store.

Please remember that hoodies are not part of our uniform at Woodman’s Hill Secondary College. If you need to wear long sleeves under dresses or shirts, they must be a plain black V-neck T-shirt only.

If you need support in purchasing uniform items, please come and see us in the Senior School Office—we’re here to help where we can.

Celebrating Our Year 11 Talent

Finally, I’d like to give a big shoutout to one of our talented Year 11 students, Callum Teal, who shared his musical skills during lunchtime last week as part of the Year 9 Wellbeing Day.

Well, done, Callum, and thank you for generously giving up your time to create a great atmosphere for the event. It’s wonderful to see our students sharing their passions with the school community!
