Term 2 has started strong in the Humanities Key Learning Area, with new units across the board in a range of areas.

Year 7 have begun their exploration of Ancient Societies, tracking the development of hunter gatherers into the complex civilisation of Ancient Sumer, to the unique relationship to country in Ancient Australia.

We’re dive into the murky politics of the War on Terror with our Year 8's, deep diving into contentious foreign policy and then examining its impacts on global migration.

In the shadow of the Australian Federal Election, Year 9's are tracking the changing relationship between media & democracy in our country, along with how to best navigate digital communication.

Year 10's are finishing up their studies of WW2, exploring the short- & long-term effects of war in the pacific & the atom bomb. This leads them into our geography unit on food security and its relationship with political stability.

Another reminder for those in contact with our year 10's, please check in with them about upcoming Work Experience! Many have found places and are looking forward to it, but conversations are crucial to ensure they’re prepared and they feel supported through an exciting time.
