Year 7/8 News

As I reflect on the term for our Year 7 and 8 students, I am incredibly proud of how they have developed as young people, embraced new challenges and fully immersed themselves in life at Melba College.

From camps and excursions to sports days, exhibitions and classroom learning, the term has been filled with opportunities to grow, connect and create lasting memories. There have been plenty of laughs, moments of challenge and times to come together as a sub school and celebrate what makes our community special.

It has been wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, building friendships, showing resilience and developing a greater sense of belonging. These experiences are an important part of their journey, and they should be proud of all they have achieved.

Thank you to our students for the energy, enthusiasm and courage they have brought to the term, and to our staff for the care, commitment and encouragement they continue to provide.

We look forward to finishing the year as we have started, with enthusiasm, commitment and seeing the students thrive.
