Biz -E -Kidz Update

From Libby Hanna, Biz-E-Kidz Coordinator
Getting the school year started at Biz-E-Kidz
Hello families!
We have settled in well to before and after school care for the year, especially considering the transition for grade 1s from our Prep after school care program to Juniors, and for grade 3s from our Juniors after school care program to Seniors, as well as a new campus for grade 3s and for Preps!! It is a lot for growing minds to take on but everyone is doing very well.
2026 is the 49th(!) year of Biz-E-Kidz’s operation and we are focusing on children’s belonging and identity here at Biz-E-Kidz this year. An initiative that we are launching to support this is a Biz-E-Kidz Art Show, to occur at the end of each term and allow interested children to display their favourite artworks that they have made throughout the term.
As Biz-E-Kidz and the school have undergone such change in recent years with the new campus opening and all the relevant adjusting and constant re-calibrating of spaces and routines, we aim to solidify children’s sense of their identity as Biz-E-Kidz and their sense of belonging in this unique, special organisation that we are.
Initiatives such as our termly Art Show and the Biz-E-Zine (now being published monthly) assist children to identify themselves as part of the community that is Biz-E-Kidz, collaborate with each other and with Educators to pursue long-term projects, and celebrate their contributions publicly to the rest of our community.
See below children’s collaborative painting of the Biz-E-Kidz Art Show banners, and last week's Program Plan for the Juniors Program.
