Visual Arts

Throughout Term 2, students explored a variety of artists, techniques and creative processes in preparation for our upcoming Term 4 Art Show, Around the World. Students developed their skills in drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and design, drawing inspiration from artists and art styles from different countries and cultures.
As part of their Art Show preparations, each year level also contributed to a collaborative artwork based on the theme of Happiness, encouraging students to celebrate the people, places and experiences that bring them joy. These collaborative artworks will be on display at the Art Show and available for families to purchase and take home. Students have also created artist trading cards to accompany their artworks. These special cards can be collected, traded with friends during the Art Show, and taken home as a keepsake souvenir.
It has been wonderful to see students grow in confidence, develop their artistic skills, and proudly share their creativity throughout the term. Their artworks reflect not only their learning and collaboration, but also their enthusiasm, imagination and love of art!
