Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL)

Our staff are continuing to undertake Professional Learning in implementing Positive Behaviours for Leaning (PBL).  This week, I have been very fortunate to be attending the Positive Behaviour for Learning Conference-Better Together: Multi Tiered Systems of Support, and I am very excited to share with our staff learnings and the vast amount of information from the many sessions attended, as we move forward in implementing our PBL.

Throughout this term, the PBL team and staff have been very busy refining our whole school behaviour matrix, and developing the lessons and social stories that will be used to explicity teach these.  Our students are also involved in sharing their persepctives about what these beahviours look like, sound like and feel like, and this information is being used to refine our lessons and stories for the explicit teaching of these behaviours.

We will continue our preparations and planning next term with the vision of officially launching our PBL rollout in Term 4.
