School Closure Day (Monday 13th July)

Students Resume (Tuesday 14th July)

Dear Parents/Carers,

As we conclude another wonderful term at Holy Family, we give thanks for the many opportunities our students, families and staff have shared together. It has truly been a term filled with learning, faith, connection and community spirit.

Throughout the term, our students have participated in a wide range of enriching experiences. We gathered as a school community for our reverent ANZAC Day Prayer Service, honouring those who have served our nation. Our faith journey continued as many students celebrated the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation, significant milestones in their spiritual growth.

Strong connections with families remained a priority through initiatives such as our fortnightly Coffee and Chat Playgroup, Friday Morning Run Club, Mother's Day Stall and our special Mother's Day Celebration, where we were delighted to welcome so many mothers and special women into our school community.

Learning extended well beyond the classroom with exciting experiences including the Year 3 and 4 School Camp at Sovereign Hill, Secondary School Experience Day, National Simultaneous Storytime and our engaging Whole School Wellbeing Day with Dance Curriculum. These experiences provided students with opportunities to build confidence, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

Sporting opportunities were plentiful, with students proudly representing Holy Family in House Cross Country, District Cross Country, District Soccer, Interschool Sport and the Winter Sport Gala Day. We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship demonstrated by all participants.

We also welcomed many prospective families through our school tours, proudly showcasing the vibrant learning environment and strong sense of community that makes Holy Family such a special place.

Thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive families and enthusiastic students for making this term such a success. Together, we continue to nurture a community where every child is encouraged to learn, grow and flourish. We look forward to another exciting term ahead.

First Eucharist

On Sunday, our Year 4 students celebrated the Sacrament of First Eucharist during the 10.00am Parish Mass at Holy Family Church. Celebrating this important milestone within the parish community provided our students with a meaningful opportunity to receive the Eucharist for the first time surrounded by their families, friends and fellow parishioners.

As a Catholic school, we value the strong partnership between home, school and parish, and it was wonderful to witness our students take this significant step in their faith journey within the broader Holy Family community.

We extend our sincere thanks to Father Justel for his spiritual guidance and support throughout the sacramental program. We also acknowledge and thank Vicky Pejic, Michelle Luong, Katrina Davis and Di Dimovski for their dedication in preparing and supporting our students as they journeyed towards this special occasion.

We are incredibly proud of the respectful, reverent and prayerful manner in which our Year 4 students conducted themselves throughout the Mass. They represented both their families and Holy Family School with great pride, demonstrating a deep understanding of the significance of this sacrament.

May this special celebration continue to strengthen our students' relationship with God as they continue their faith journey.
