The 2025 showcase, "Iconic", truly lived up to it's title. The show was exciting, dynamic and incredibly well received. We could not be more proud of the Dance Academy and VET Dance students. They have brought such a high standard and exceptional professionalism to the stage this year, which was demonstrated in this showcase. A huge congratulations to the dancers for their hard work on and off the stage! A special congratulations to our dedicated Year 12 students, Eddie, Chloe, Loa and Jess who have been involved in Dance Academy from year 7 all the way through their time at Sandringham. We are very proud of you all, and wish you the very best for your future endeavours

The students' were so dedicated and committed to delivering their absolute best throughout the showcase season, including our full day of professional filming with Pride Productions. The film will be available to purchase as a download link once the edit is complete. Please keep an eye out on Compass for the purchase event.
Huge thanks to the amazing Dance Academy teachers, Matt Mitchell, Brianna McInerney and Kristina Hardner, for their amazing routines and for inspiring the students to work to their absolute best. We are so excited to continue working with you all next year. And big thanks to Grace Prendergast for stepping into the VET role for this semester and guiding the students into their assessments with confidence.

Thank you to Michael Eather and Aaron Bell for the incredible lighting and technical work behind the scenes. This truly gives the show a professional polish, rarely seen in a high school setting. We are very grateful for your expertise.
Thank you to Emily Cullis for designing and creating all of the promo material and programs this year.
My sincere thanks to Vivienne McElwee, for your unwavering support of the Dance Academy and VET programs. These programs would not be up and running without your continual dedication and belief in what we can achieve with Dance at Sandringham College.
Finally, thank you to all of you, the parents, family and friends who make the Dance Academy program possible. Without your belief and support of the program and showcase performances, this amazing Academy would not run. I am extremely grateful for your trust in all of us to help guide and shape your child's experience at school, by providing them with an enriching, artistic pursuit. Dance teaches us all so much more then just the 'right moves'. It's about dedication, working in a team, building a strong work ethic and bringing a different perspective to the world. We look forward to continuing to work with you and your children in years to come.
