Teaching and Learning

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding school year, I want to celebrate the commitment and enthusiasm our students have shown throughout recent exams and Head Start. These weeks demand focus and a genuine dedication to learning. Our students have risen to the challenge of exams with maturity, dedication and excellence. Equally, we have been proud to see students using Head Start as an opportunity to get a strong jump into 2026.

Behind the scenes, our teachers have been working exceptionally hard, finalising this year’s academic programs while also preparing for an exciting year of learning ahead. Their professionalism, hard work and care ensure that every student enters the new year ready to thrive. I want to acknowledge their tireless efforts in shaping outstanding lessons, assessing student learning, refining curriculum plans and continuing to raise the bar for high-quality teaching and learning across the school.

Looking forward, we are excited to continue our journey of growth through the staged implementation of the VTLM 2.0, with a focus on knowledge rich curriculum, positive classroom routines and explicit instruction. This work represents an important step in strengthening our shared approach to teaching and learning, ensuring consistency, clarity and challenge in every classroom.
