Duke of Edinburgh Gold Level Awards 2026

On Thursday 4 June, I had the pleasure of attending the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Gold Level Reception, hosted by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, at Government House.

Three of our past and present students were awarded the Gold Level Achievement and we are very proud of this exceptional achievement by Rohan MR, Amiya C, and Sabrina L.

It is worth noting that all three of these recipients have been and are School Captains of Box Hill High School. 

A special mention must also go to our current School Captain, Rohan, who was the only recipient asked to speak after her Excellency. He spoke extremely well about his experiences and personal growth. 

Congratulations to all three students on behalf of the school community – you are indeed shining ambassadors of a great program and a proud school!

Harding Miller Education Foundation Scholarship Award

Congratulations to Year 9 student Lisa W who is the 2026 recipient of the Harding Miller Education Foundation Scholarship.

This prestigious scholarship is awarded to high-achieving Australian girls who demonstrate strong academic potential, determination, and a commitment to their education. Lisa's selection as a scholarship recipient is a significant accomplishment and a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and outstanding academic achievements.

The Harding Miller Education Foundation Scholarship provides recipients with valuable educational support throughout their secondary schooling, including access to technology, learning resources, tutoring opportunities, and mentoring programs. These supports are designed to empower students to reach their full potential and pursue their educational goals with confidence.

We are incredibly proud of Lisa and this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing all that she accomplishes in the years ahead and wish her every success as she embarks on this exciting opportunity.
