Prep

The Prep students learned about primary and secondary colours through hands on exploration. They applied this knowledge while creating a butterfly artwork that showcased colour mixing. Students also made lanterns, allowing them to experiment with light, colour and simple construction techniques.

Level 1

The Level 1 students learned foundational clay techniques through guided demonstrations and practice. They applied these skills to design and create their own Tic‑Tac‑Toe game pieces. This project helped them understand form, texture and how clay can be shaped into functional objects.

Level 2

The Level 2 students explored how to transform 2D drawings into 3D artworks. They designed characters on paper and then used sticky tape and stuffing to turn them into plushies. This process strengthened their understanding of shape, pattern and construction.

Level 3

The Level 3 students learned how to create sculptures using clay techniques and mosaic elements. They studied the work of Antoni Gaudí and explored how he used colour, pattern and texture. Their final pieces reflected his influence while allowing them to express their own creativity.

Level 4

The Level 4 students created fruit sculptures using papier‑mâché techniques, learning how to build strong forms from simple materials. They were inspired by the surrealist artworks of René Magritte. Their sculptures encouraged imaginative thinking and the use of symbolism.

Level 5

The Level 5 students learned how to use recycled materials to create mosaic artworks. They studied Antoni Gaudí’s approach to colour and pattern as inspiration. This project encouraged sustainability, creativity and thoughtful design.

Level 6

The Level 6 students developed their clay working skills through the creation of trinket trays. They shaped, decorated and refined their pieces with care and attention to detail. These trays were then prepared for the Mother’s Day stall, giving their work a meaningful purpose.
