Level One

Swimming
This term, the Level One students took part in an intensive swimming program to build confidence and enjoyment in the water. Through the program, they grew in confidence, developed determination and independence, with numerous students taking their first swimming lessons! Well done.
Harmony Day
Level One students participated in a Harmony Day activity, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and being together. They engaged in a dress-up event, expressing themselves through beautiful cultural wear and harmony colours. We celebrated these themes through writing and reading sessions reflecting on the meaning of Harmony Day. Students demonstrated creativity, understanding, and respect for different cultures and perspectives.
Library and Writing
The Level One students this term enjoyed weekly library sessions, with many students starting to explore non fiction texts in their interest areas. Its been great to spend time in outside-of-class spaces and watch student help one another around the library.
In writing we have ended the term learning about shape poems and rhyme. Students have expressed their creativty and imaginative writing whilst creating poems about colours and about Easter.
Easter Bonnets
Our much anticipated Easter Bonnet Parade was held in Week 10, with lots of elaborate and intricate hat designs. Welldone to students and their families who have spent time at home preparing these Bonnets. It was lovely to have our final assembly of the term in person, and with an Easter Bunny visit!
