Level Two

Toys Over Time
This engaging hands-on experience allowed students to explore how toys have evolved over the years and how they reflect changes in technology, materials and society. Students had the opportunity to handle and compare toys from different eras sparking curiosity and meaningful discussions about innovation and design.
Through interactive activities, they discovered how simple inventions from the past have influenced the complex toys we enjoy today. The incursion also encouraged students to think creatively about their own toy designs linking directly to our focus on invention and problem-solving. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience that deepened their understanding of how inventions shape our everyday lives.
World Maths Day
For World Maths Day students engaged in the World Maths Challenge on Mathletics. Students were able to challenge students from around Australia in the world and see who could complete some Math problems as fast as they could. Students also created their own cafe menus and used coins to buy and sell from each other. It was a lot of fun for students to imagine what their cafe would look like and use coins to purchase and make change for the items.
