Staffing Update

2026 appointments

Each year at this time we farewell a number of staff leaving St George’s for pastures new. This year we say thank you and goodbye to Dr Laurie Burn, Mr Aaron Hancock, Mr Malcolm McTavish, Mrs Abbey Tobin and Mr Richard Truong. We thank them for their service and commitment to St George’s and wish them all the very best for the future.

Ms Jodie Scheele is also leaving us for a 12-month sabbatical to work for the ACC as their Director of Sports Operations. Whilst we will continue to see Ms Scheele at the ACC Inter School Carnivals we will not see her on a daily basis as part of the HPE Team. We will greatly miss her passion, her enthusiasm and her deep love of all things sporting. We wish her all the very best for her new role and the learnings that she will gain from this experience. In her absence, Miss Amy Perejmibida will move into the Acting Head of HPE role and Miss Molly Raynor will be Acting Head of Gandhi House.
