The last day of school marked a special celebration of the Performing Arts. Drama students enjoyed video screenings in Room 1.3, culminating in the Kids’ Choice Awards, reflecting on their performances throughout the year.

Dance performances filled the day with energy and pride:
• Ballet Company made their debut, performing the piece they’ve been carefully developing
• Senior Dance Company made a powerful comeback
• Year 9 Dance took to the stage for their debut performance
• Year 11 Dance continued their strong jazz performance success
• Highlights from School to Stage performances celebrated a massive year of Dance
These moments showcased an outstanding year of growth, passion, and creativity. We are immensely proud of our Performing Arts community and look forward to an even brighter 2026.

It has been a big finish to the year for our Music Department, with a string of performances that showcased the energy, talent, and teamwork of our students.
We kicked off with Sounds@Sunset on 28 November at the very cool Planet Royale in Northbridge. The venue buzzed with great music and even better vibes as our students took to the stage. A huge shout-out to our fantastic MCs — Performance Captain Juliette Andrew and Music Prefect Lawson Forrester — who kept the night moving with confidence and charm.
On 22 November, St George’s Voices were thrilled to perform at the inaugural AngliSchools Evensong at St George’s Cathedral. Singing alongside students from St Mark’s, John Septimus Roe, and Peter Moyes Anglican Community Schools, our choir helped create a truly beautiful and memorable service.
On 1 December, students brought warmth and sparkle to the Lessons and Carol Service, at St George’s Cathedral filling the space with expressive playing and gorgeous singing — a perfect start to the festive season.

We also congratulate our Special Music Award recipients:

Most Improved Instrumentalist

In the final week of school, we had one last chance to share our love of music at the Festival of Performing Arts at the Murray Street Campus — a joyful, relaxed way to celebrate the end of 2025 and all that our music community has achieved.

We took the opportunity to donate non-perishable items to AngliCare. Thank you to everyone who donated items as an 'entry fee'..
Thank you to all our students, families, and staff for supporting music throughout the year. We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings and it begins with Electrocity performing once again at the Fringe Festival in early February!
