Australian Geography Competition

Geography students in Year 9S, Year 10S, and Year 11 participated in the 2020 Australian Geography Competition, testing their geographic knowledge and skills against students from all over the country.

The Competition is run by the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland and the Australian Geography Teachers' Association. It aims to encourage student interest in geography and to reward student excellence.

This year students were tested on a wide range of geographical topics including: sustainability; global interconnections; urban development; population change; climate impacts and mapping skills.
