Jamberoo Reward Day

Celebrating success with Year 7

1st December 2020:  The Year 7 cohort was celebrated for their respectful, responsible and successful behaviour they have shown throughout the year. Students enjoyed the road trip with their friends, an overload of snacks, the freedom to explore Jamberoo and go on all the super cool rides! Laughs were shared and memories were made! The students really enjoyed themselves and have started hinting ideas for next year's Rewards Day!

Miss Cupac and Mr Wilcox would like to acknowledge and congratulate Year 7 on a fantastic year!  We've had a very unpredictable year but have come out shining! We can't wait to do it all again next year.

On behalf of all the Year 7 Class of 2020

Cecil Hills Rides and Reward Day!  Getting on the bus to Jamberoo was very exciting and overwhelming.  For some people not knowing what was on the other side of the sign of Jamberoo, to saying “Oh I've been there before, it's amazing!” Well by the looks of most people's faces when entering Jamberoo for the first time, their faces glowed up like I've never seen them before. This overwhelming feeling of excitement really takes over your body and you know that today will be a good day and to know that it would be better than the rest.

The waterslides we could participate in were The Taipan, Lazy River,  The Storm, The Funnel Web, Surf Hill, The Rock, Splash Out, Jamberoo Express, The Chair Lift and many more.  One of my favourite slides, and something I will remember forever, is The Storm! Going down the storm BACKWARDS was very fun. I loved seeing my friends' faces when the drops happened and the scared looks on their faces as it started to go down the steep drop! I will always remember this moment and I definitely recommend going to Jamberoo to have a fun day! I just want to take the opportunity to thank my Year Advisers, Miss Cupac and Mr Wilcox, our Deputy Principal, Mr Lane and all the other teachers that helped with assisting on the day.   Year 7 had the best day ever!

On Tuesday, 1st December, our Year Advisers and teachers rewarded us with a trip to Jamberoo. We had the privilege to go off into our own groups, we also had a great experience and lots of fun. We are very thankful for our year advisers organising this amazing day, as it will leave us with great memories.
