Robotics Competition hosted at BHS over the Winter holidays!

The newly named Blackburn High School Robotics team, Burnouts, have been busy making improvements to their current robot for the upcoming competition. The competition is being hosted at our school and all are welcome to come down, support our students and check out the fun. The competition is running over the middle weekend of the winter break which is the Friday 30th to Sunday 1st. I would recommend coming on the Saturday to see all the qualifying matches, with finals running on the Sunday if you are interested. All information about the event can be found on the following website.

Congratulations to the team for all the work they have done in preparation for this event. Especially all of the new recruits for which this will be their first competition! Good luck and hopefully it will be a fun and exciting weekend.

Photos are from the students working on the robot during the curriculum day on Thursday the 15th. Very dedicated group of students.
