Year 9
Year 9 Heroes Day
On Thursday 1 June the school’s Wellbeing Team took 200 of our year 9 students to the MCG to participate in the Reach Foundations annual Heroes Day. The day is all about encouraging young people to think about their own and other’s actions and encouraging them to make choices that put them on the path to the people they want to be in the future.
Students list their biggest takeaways from the day as:

- “You don’t know what others are going through
- “How to be more aware of how others feel

- “People have backstories
- “To be myself and I am not alone
