Term 2
A big thank you to all Dunlop teachers, students and families for a busy yet fruitful Term 2.
This week saw the Dunlop fundraising day which was a fitting end to an amazing term. A huge thank you to the Dunlop student leadership team for their incredible work in preparing the sausages, drinks and games. All in all, we raised more than $3400 for the weary Dunlop Foundation for medical research. Some photos of the day are attached.
Term 2 has seen many highlights both individual and class-based. Our students represented the school at many interschool sporting and music events and concerts. It is amazing to see the array of talents our students possess.
A couple of individual highlights included Louisa H performing in the Top Arts concert at the Arts Centre. This is in recognition of Luisa's incredible performance in VCE music. Congratulations Luisa.
Also congratulations to Harrison Lefebure for his participation for the Victoria in the Under 21 Male Netball team. Not only were Victoria crowned champions but Harrison was named as part of the Australian squad.
On a staffing note, we say congratulations to our Assistant House Leader, Brittany Milner who has been appointed the House leader of Hollows House for terms 3 and 4. Replacing Brittany as assistant House leader is Jihan Heenkenda who will take on the role of Assistant house leader. Congratulations Jihan.
Also a farewell to Science teacher Glenn Moloney who will be leaving us after a short time at Blackburn High School. We wish Glenn all the best in his future pursuits.
May I wish everyone a happy and safe mid-year holiday.
Mark Pasquali - Proud Dunlop House leader.
