Year 10 Global Issues Excursion

The Year 10 Global Issues class travelled to St Kilda and Elwood Beach to gather fieldwork data for their final assessment task. This involved taking photos of how the landscape had been managed to support environmental, social, and economic interests. They also collected survey data from locals in the area and enjoyed lunch by the beach.

Year 12 Legal Studies

“The Year 12 Legal Studies class visited the State Houses of Parliament to see the MPs in action as they presented bills regarding funding mental health services and public transport in Victoria, through the legislative council.

They saw the MPs debate an amendment to a bill regarding pharmacies renewing prescriptions in the legislative assembly.

The tour was an excellent first-hand experience of the heated nature of legislative discussion that is enhanced with an authentic experience. ” Mr Reyment & Mrs Bianco
